The Valley Camino Chapter provides regular information events in the form of:
- Slide Show Talks – these are usually evening events at a community library. They are always lead by at least one of the coordinators
- Social Events – these are lunches or dinners with a guest speaker, offered in a local restaurant. Details will be shown on our blog page
- Pole Use Training – these are half day training sessions to introduce or improve your skills with walking poles. These are lead by a certified instructor
We hold regular walks for those who are training or enjoy extended walks.
We always offer an post-walk brunch, at peregrino prices, where you can meet with others and talk-the-walk. Where possible we can share rides – contact Ray about this.
Other regional chapters, (Ottawa, Kingston and others) offer other events and these can sometimes include specialty international speakers. Check their sites online.
